ROBYN DAVIDSON
EXPLORER & BEST-SELLING AUTHOR

The unusual upbringing of author Robyn Davidson led her on the path to extraordinary experiences. Her exposure to zoology and animals from a young age brought her to work with camels at Alice Springs in 1975. Two years later, with four camels and a dog, Davidson began an inspiring journey about which she wrote an article for National Geographic, published the following year. Due to the immense amount of interest that followed the article’s publication, Davidson wrote a best-selling travelogue, Tracks, to retell her experience. Robyn Davidson’s work has also brought her to study different nomadic lifestyles along her travels, as well as the wider human condition.
